Carboxytherapy
The carboxiterapía consists of the subcutaneous application of carbon dioxide (CO2) medicinal high purity with the help of a programmable and automated equipment for therapeutic or aesthetic purposes.
Process:
This treatment is carried out with the application of localized micro-injections of CO2 through a specialized team for the treatment.
This equipment is in charge of the control of the flow velocity of said gas.
The introduction of the treatment is carried out in a subcutaneous way or way by which the gas arrives through a flexible conduit from the equipment.
Side effects:
The side effects of the treatment are minimal. These effects can be related to minor pain, mild bruising and some burning sensation.
A poor uncontrolled application of gas can cause subcutaneous emphysema.
